    AASHRM keeps you informed on current workplace issues and emerging developments in human resource management through a variety of speakers and resource presentations at the monthly meetings. Information and updates provided by the State Council and national chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management are shared at meetings.

    Membership Types

    Professional (National) Members.Individuals who are current members in good standing of SHRM. Professional members may vote and hold office in the chapter.

    General (Local Chapter) Members.Individuals in human resource positions as well as those individuals who demonstrate a bona fide interest in human resource management and the mission of the Chapter. General members may vote and may hold any office other than President, Vice President or President-Elect in the Chapter.

    Student Members.Individuals who are enrolled as students at the college or university level. Student members may not vote or hold office in the Chapter.
